For a few years, I've fallen in passion with animation...
Of course, there are nowadays cartoons, plasticine, Flash, CGI, but I wanted to do something else : take my childhood's contruction toys and picture them frame by frame to produce little movies.

Obviously, some others had previously the same idea, et I soon discovered the new born community of "brickfilmers", these are people who create animation movies using construction toys of various brands.

The hideout of this fellowship is the american-based website www.brickfilms.com,
in which I office as one of the administrator, mostly for audio-based questions.
This website hosts a database of hundreds of brickfilms and amateur directors, an active, reactive and open-minded board, and for a few weeks a Foley library.
Everything being totally free.

You may object that this is lame, but let me make you know that this kind of animation is raising to serious consideration, as a proof the growing interest here and there (MTV US, ARTE TV, White Stripes video by Michel Gondry, US Honda ad,...)
